Had a fantastic experience with UPS Solar from their first visit through to installation. Excellent communication and value for money. The two workmen that did our installation were brilliant and worked really hard to make it work in our unusual and awkward house!

After extensive exploration into the unknown of Solar panels by looking at several companies I finally opted for UPS Solar from Lancashire, I was not disappointed in my choice which was a well experienced quality company, the quality of the materials and especially the Instillation team shone through the way they tackled the job should the experience and knowledge they had, after fitment everything was explained, cleaned up behind them and they were certainly a credit to UPS which included their very friendly manner and the job was finished in a day.

We had panels and batteries installed in November 21.Everything was very clear with quotation through to install.Barry & Doug were really good with installation.Arrived on time, all done in a day.Awkward cable routing as meter is in basement, but all sorted cleanly.Even repointed the ridge tiles as they noticed they were loose.

Had difficulty finding a company I could trust to install. UPS Solar were found based off reviews and they turned out to be brilliant. They came of and worked out the appropriate system for me and they Installed the system in 4 hours with no work needed inside the house (other than the attic) and the system has been performing as well as predicted!

The team showed up promptly, worked neatly and completed within their estimated time. We were unable to have an isolation switch, in case of a power blackout from the National Grid, without breaking into the cavity wall due to the original placement of the circuit breaker box. We decided to leave that for now. We also had to discuss how best to route the cable from the panels to the inverter in one of the cupboards of our loft conversion. The team leader was thorough and open in offering suggestions and implications for both of the installation issues above and though I did not get what I had wanted with the isolation switch I was pleased that my request was taken into account and options offered. I would recommend them and our decision to install with them had been independently reinforced by a local friend having had them install his panels to his satisfaction. Linda and John Mace

`My experience was positive from start to finish. The initial response was very quick and lots of helpful information was given. Further contact was always followed up quickly and I soon realised that this is a good company that looks after its customers. The installation itself was very smooth from arriving on time to covering all areas that needed protection and cleaning up after the work was completed. All done in less than a day and the money was worthwhile with the benefits apparent very quickly. I couldn’t fault anything it the whole transaction.

The fitter was brilliant, in horrendous weather he just carried on and got the job done.Can't thank him enough.

Just had solar panels installed last week and the installation team were second to none. Punctual, manners, tidy, efficient - we really could not have asked for more. In the office our main contact, Rhys, has been exceptional. He answered all our questions, helped us stay in the loop while account managers were on holiday and we felt supported by him throughout. We are now awaiting a battery to be installed which I hope will be in the near future.

UPS Solar is an excellent choice of supplier for acquisition and fitting of solar panels. We kept bombarding Sophie with questions and she kindly and patiently worked her way through all of them to our satisfaction. The Surveyor was very knowledgeable, and made sure that we only bought what was needed for optimum results. The installers again were extremely knowledgeable apart from being extremely nice guys! We would not hesitate to recomend this company if you are considering solar panels to save your electricity bills.

A very easy company to deal with. 4 weeks after I made the initial enquiry everything had been installed and was up and working nicely. The customer service is really very good. They contacted me a couple of times prior to the installation with questions or options for me. The lads doing the fitting arrived on the planned day and were finished and tidied up by 4pm. Great service!

After deciding to take the plunge into solar we had a few quotes prepared one of which was UPS Solar. They took the time to visit site,understand our needs and wants and explained the process in a pleasant manner with no pushy sales techniques Andy the sales guy was pleasant an knowledgable. Once we had made our decision getting the ball rolling was as easy as clicking the electronic agreement button. Within a couple of days the surveyor came another nice chap , we agreed what would go where, resolved a design change due to space restrictions and a revised quote was received within a day. The installation date was agreed and was within a couple of weeks. The scaffold arrived as planned and the install team turned up on the day, great couple of guys who worked hard all day to get our system installed and up an running no issues at all. We were contacted the next day and login details provided for the monitoring along with an invoice which we duly paid. A small error on the invoice was identified related to the two quotes and a refund of the difference was returned to our bank the next working day no quibbles. All in all we can highly recommend UPS if you want solar you will do OK with these guys for sure. It was swift and trouble free experience.

Had a brilliant experience with UPS Solar from my initial dealings with Sophie in the sales team, to Danny and the installation team as well as Paul and Michael in the office. Nothing was too much trouble and the entire team could not do enough to help throughout the process. Would definitely recommend to anyone and will be going back to the team when I am ready for my battery installations. If there was a choice to provide 6 stars, I would not think twice. What great service! Two excellent engineers Barry and Stuart, methodical, neat and very tidy. Both had very pleasant personalities. They explained everything they were going to be doing, how the equipment worked. and how it was integrated into the system. The admin staff on the end of the telephone were superb, again very informative and extremely patent in helping me to navigate and use the smart phone app.This is a very good company, one that I can highly recommend to anyone that is considering solar power. Their remote survey provided a great deal of useful information and their surveyor confirmed the practical aspects of the installation. The installation team was very professional and made some changes for the better. We are very happy with how everything works and consider their system offers good value for money.

If you’re looking for a company you can trust who will take pride in their work and give you the best value possible, then look no further than UPS. I made the huge mistake of choosing a local company who were a few hundred pounds cheaper and it cost me so much more. The other company damaged my property and after 6 weeks of dispute, we decided to call it quits. UPS stepped in and did a complete install from scratch. From start to finish they were amazing. Everyone who you will deal with is just first class. I had Hesham who came to do the initial site survey, Michael who prepared the quote and Sophie who managed all the admin. They were all just amazing people and it’s clear they are all passionate about the service they provide. This isn’t a ‘one man band’ setup, they have dedicated people for each step of the process, so everyone who you deal with knows their stuff.The Install - I had Stuart on the electrics and Barry on the in-roof solar array. The electrical work was neat and tidy and looked amazing. Then there’s Barry… I can’t really put into words how amazing this guy is. I have never seen anyone work as hard as this man and take pride in every aspect of the job. He ensured I was happy with every step of the install, took time to plan his work from the moment he was onsite and made sure he ran all decisions past me to make sure I’d be happy with the end result. The survey and ordering process was very straightforward. The installers worked really hard and for very long hours to get everything just right. I'm really happy with the service and would recommend.

Professional and hard working lads who installed our systems, (Barry & Stuart) They started at 8am and finished at 9.30pm and came back the following Day to tidy a few things up, a 5 hour round trip for them. The work was carried out to a high/good standard. This company was recommended to us by relatives and I have no renovations to recommend to others.

Happy to recommend UPS Solar. Pleasant dealings with the Sales/Office team who helped me choose what system best fit my needs. Then once all agreed a surveyor was sent round to check over my house. Installs team were friendly, knowledgeable and efficient. Upon their arrival it was found that the scaffold was too short and needed to be extended but despite this they still had my system installed in 24 hours. Did a great job too hiding any cabling.

A Very good service all round

so nice to not have pushy sales persons especially in this domain where it often to us seemed the norm. You ask for a quote, there may be some brief contacts for clarifications, then very soon a detailed understandable and clear quote arrives. It has lots of information on the product, what’s to be done and what to expect from the installation. Any questions emerging from the quote are delta with in a friendly and supportive way with the opportunity to adjust and adapt as needed. Again, no pushy sales pressures. What is very reassuring is being able to confirm agreements to go ahead without having part with any money till the system is in and up and running. For me the best test of a company is how they manage when/if not all goes to plan. This is where UPS for us excelled. There was a slight hiccup, not of their making, however it was managed with good consultation, prompt and efficient approach in a friendly supportive way. When done and working the documents needed to register the system arrived promptly and were again clear and understandable. All from UPS who we had contact with were personable, friendly and supportive. So yes I would recommend.

Very impressed with UPS Solar. I found them via a Green Energy website, so they didn't "cold call" me. I gave them the details they needed to quote and they sent a very detailed offer, giving a full breakdown of all the different elements, with a price for each part. I contacted 5 different companies and no other ones were as helpful and detailed as UPS. They put no pressure on me to go ahead and were very flexible to changes I asked to make to the specification. When I double checked prices online for the different products, I found them to be as good as and sometimes better than others. Their prices were the most competitive and I deliberately looked at a wide spectrum of companies, both local and national. They were very efficient, responsive and helpful and once I had agreed to go ahead they installed the system within 2 weeks. The installers were quick, efficient and courteous. The system was up and running inside 6 hours. I had questions about the invertor, post installation and they have been very quick to respond, so after sales service is also good. I don't normally fill in comments for suppliers, as I am skeptical if they are genuine. But if anyone wants a positive experience on solar panel installation (and there are a lot of bandits out there!) I would highly recommend UPS Solar

They were a pleasure to have here for the day and so professional. The panels look smart and even on the day, the guys made adjustments so we could have all the panels located on the back of the house instead of having to have some on the front.Since the installation day, the main office has been brilliant. I recently had a 31 panel solar system installed by UPS. I was really impressed with their service. They were not pushy when I may my enquiry and once I had confirmed that I wanted to proceed, they moved things forward in a timely and professional manner. I special thank you goes to their fitting team of Stu and Abie, they made a huge effort to make the system as aesthetically pleasing as possible and to answer all my questions. The array looks better than I had expected and even my wife who was very sceptical about how it would look is happy with it. Stu and Abie were a pleasure to have around, worked incredibly hard and cleaned up very well.

The team over at UPS Solar have been amazing all the way through this process. From being quoted and not pushed to making a decision, no sales calls and no hard selling. The guys came yesterday and installed the system, within the day I had access to the app to see how my system is doing. The electrian Simon, was extremely helpful and pointed out a problem with our fuse board which is something I will need to sort.If you are looking for Solar and battery system at a good price, with an extremely knowledgeable bunch of people. Then UPS Solar should be the top of your list.

Having had a quote for solar panels from another supplier I next tried UPS Solar and immediately felt that these were people I could work with. That never changed. Over the following few days they were helpful in working out how to fit 12 panels onto a very difficult roof before finally having a survey to confirm that the installation was viable. The quote was very reasonable and from then on everything went smoothly and was carried out in an efficient and friendly manner.
